Part 2 of our Iceland photos

Approaching Reykjavik Iceland 50 kls from the coast we all got excited seeing this white blob on the horizon obviously we all thought it was an iceberg but through my zoom lens I could pick out a trig station on top and a lot of bird activity. As it turns out this piece of rock popped up a few years ago after a volcanic eruption and the Icelanders were able to claim another 50 kls of fishing zone, smart move. Apparently it upset a lot of foreign countries that had been fishing in the region.

Iceberg yes ??

Iceberg no!
